Matthew 7:13-14: Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Psalms 103:10: He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
No matter how severe our ordeals on earth, they are not as severe as The Lake of Fire, which is what we deserve. All have sinned and the wages of sin is death. (Romans 3:23 and 6:23) Anything this side of the Lake of Fire is better than we deserve. God has not dealt with Christians after their sins because He dealt with Jesus after them. And He will deal with those who receive Him according to Jesus* righteousness. 2 Corinthians 5:21: For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.Romans 4:8: Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.
By comparison with the Lake of Fire, Christians have nothing to complain about in this life, and unbelievers have nothing to complain about . . . yet. Are you praying for them? |
